Jimmy James Nominated for 2016 XBIZ Exec Awards

LOS ANGELES — Huge Ape Media announced that Jimmy James has been named a nominee for the adult industry’s most prestigious career awards program, the 2016 XBIZ Exec Awards, coinciding with the upcoming XBIZ 2016 events series set for Jan. 12-15.

James has been nominated for Marketing Executive of the Year. Individuals nominated in this category are the “power behind their brands” and wear many hats as an essential part of the executive brain trust.

Selection of nominees was based on a multitude of factors including leadership ability, business acumen, positive community influence and overall career success as submitted by industry peers via social network XBIZ.net.

James heads up all operations at Huge Ape Media which began as an affiliate marketing team and expanded globally through successful partnerships and now has in-house productions.

“It's an honor to be considered for this award especially since our exposure is limited — as we are a marketing company but do not provide marketing as a service," James said. "I'm a firm believer in a well-rounded marketing strategy that is developed from scientific data and fan feedback. As an eccentric person who often gets called crazy (I've only been institutionalized once) I like it when people see past my idiosyncrasies. After all we are marketing porn to the masses. It feels good to be recognized by peers and companies within the community for my efforts.

The XBIZ Exec Awards spotlight outstanding individuals who play a key role in the success of prominent brands. The award categories cover a range of occupations that make up the organizational chart of industry enterprises, covering business development, marketing, management, chief executives and more.

To be held at Andaz Hotel on Hollywood’s famed Sunset Strip, the online industry edition of the XBIZ Exec Awards will be presented at an exclusive awards ceremony on the evening of Jan. 13 and the retail edition on Jan. 14.
